Center cap sizing guide
Small Floating Caps are for factory (stock) wheels and are sized by your vehicle's year, make and model, so there's nothing to measure. XL Floating Caps cover the lug nuts and are sized by two quick measurements. We size from your vehicle or your measurements, not from photos.
XL floaters are for aftermarket or larger wheels where the cap covers the lug nuts. We size XL caps from two measurements, the outer size and the back clip ring. We can't size caps from photos, so these two numbers are what we go by.
You need one of your current caps, a ruler or tape measure, a sheet of paper and a pencil.
Tap your size to select it.
Pick the size closest to your number. A few millimeters either way is normal. 177.8mm (7") isn't available in Brushed or Polished Aluminum.
Start at the last whole number, then count the little lines past it. Each one adds 1/16 in. Example: 5 and 11 little lines is 5 11/16 in, our 145mm size.
Flip the cap over. Measure the black plastic clip ring (the raised ring the metal clip sits on), outside edge to outside edge, straight across the middle.
Don't measure the thin metal clip, the hole inside the ring or the wide outer cap.
Tap your back clip ring size to select it.
Factory Rolls-Royce wheels are different: their back clip ring measures 64mm (about 2 1/2 in). Choose 64mm on our Rolls-Royce XL caps.
Small Floating Caps sit in the wheel center and do not cover the lug nuts. They're made for factory (stock) wheels and sized by your vehicle, so there's nothing to measure.
